This is also very important one. Particularly if you are going to design to launch the cloth for commercial. It is very essential to stay update of the fashion that currently in popularity. If you are design for young generation, it will be very hard work for you, because the trend of fashion of teenage cloth keep changing all the time. So you may find the design that is contemporary in nature, in order to stay very update and people can dress for certain period of time. However, there is a big different between women’s cloth and man’s cloth. Trends of man’s cloth many not change as frequent as women’s cloth.

3. Climate / Environment

I am really sure that there is no one want to wear the cloth that make them feel very uncomfortable, particularly for elder people. Therefore, you have to ensure that the design match to the climate and temperature of the place where you intend to sell. For example, if you are designing cloth for people who live in tropical zone such as Asia, you may have to design the cloth that provide good air ventilation and not to use thick garment. The size of the cloth should be a little bit lose to allow air to flow in and out in order to make the person who wearing feel most comfortable and they will find that your cloth is suitable for them and looking for more design.
